About The Position

The Catering Cook position at Green Valley Ranch Resort involves supporting the Executive Chef and other kitchen leaders in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and food preparation. The role requires ensuring that kitchen equipment is operational and assisting in various cooking techniques for a range of food items in a high-volume restaurant environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one to two years of cook experience in a high-volume restaurant preferred.
  • Ability to obtain all necessary work cards.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment and great attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Executive Chef and other kitchen leaders in food preparation and cooking tasks.
  • Ensure kitchen cleanliness and maintain safety and sanitation standards.
  • Assist in cooking, frying, sautéing, carving, broiling, grilling, and steaming various food items.
  • Keep cold items stocked and ensure the kitchen area is organized and clean.
  • Maintain kitchen equipment in good working order.
