About The Position

The Catering Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages at catered events, ensuring professional service and an exceptional guest experience. They must be knowledgeable about drink preparation, responsible alcohol service, and event setup and breakdown.
This is a seasonal role from February 23, 2026 and will end on June 23, 2026.
This role pays an hourly rate of $18.50
This position will remain open until April 17, 2026.

Requirements

• Previous bartending experience, preferably in a catering or event setting.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to different event environments.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol as per local regulations.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (cases of beverages, kegs, ice bins).
• Availability for flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• TIPS or similar alcohol service certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down the bar area for catered events.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to event requirements.
• Verify guest identification and ensure responsible alcohol service.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area throughout the event.
• Restock supplies, including liquor, mixers, glassware, and garnishes.
• Handle cash and card transactions, if required.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Assist with inventory tracking and reporting.
