You will report to the EMEA Logistics Category Manager and be located at our Columbia, SC location. Hybrid work schedule.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. Business, Supply Chain or Logistics degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of US procurement or global transport experience

Responsibilities

  • Negotiate prices and service delivery, and terms and conditions for logistics services that support the Columbia Fuel Fabrication Facility in SC, USA
  • Maintain category strategy and sourcing development for global Class7 logistics providers
  • Maintain supplier contracts.
  • Maintain category knowledge by researching and tracking industry trends, best practices, applicable indices,
  • Manage Request for Quotations and LOA submissions for competitive offerings to identify opportunities for innovation, competitive advantage, and increased overall productivity.
  • Manage the interface with Logistics suppliers.
  • Implement plan with supply base as part of the Global Logistics Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).
  • Achieve annual cost savings from suppliers to support yearly GSCS cost savings targets.
  • Complete Global Logistics sourcing strategies to achieve our goals while improving with transport suppliers.
  • Assist the Westinghouse Columbia SC Nuclear Transport Services team with disputes, including supplier schedule and quality issue resolution.
  • Coordinate quality audit activities and cost reduction projects.
  • Manage risk and escalate for risk mitigation.
  • Manage Supplier Corrective Action Reports for Logistics suppliers.
