Category Sales Intern
About The Position
Hey there, future game-changers! We are searching for a business-focused student to join our 2026 Summer Internship on our Category Sales team. As the Category Sales Intern , you’ll work with the Category Sales team to learn about category management at one of the leading grocery wholesalers and gain hands-on experience in strategic planning, execution, analysis and making recommendations around key business driving activities. You will work closely with the immediate team and other key internal and external business partners to achieve project goals shared with AWG leadership and impact future business activities. You will have visibility for key processes and tools used to drive efficient, timely and profitable decisions that benefit our members.
Requirements
- Business Analysis, or similar major candidates
- Junior or senior level students preferred. Recent grads acceptable.
- Solid communication skills
- Strong organization skills
- Process Improvement skills
- Attention to detail, willingness to ask questions, ability to follow up.
- Initiative, enthusiasm to learn and ability to follow direction
- Interest in SCM, logistics and grocery field
- Ability to commit to a full-time, 40 hour per week, 10-week internship, with the possibility to work overtime as needed. Including regular and reliable attendance throughout the program
