Our portfolio includes poultry, beef, egg, alternative protein, salt, oils, starches, sweeteners, cocoa and chocolate.Job Purpose and ImpactThe Category Marketing Specialist, Food Manufacturing will execute marketing strategies and annual plans for assigned categories within the Food Manufacturing channel, with a focus on beverage, specialized nutrition and bakery. This role supports Category Marketing Managers by delivering high-quality, tactical execution across key initiatives. You will apply general knowledge of the business, market dynamics, customer drivers, and category context to support customer-driven marketing activities that achieve business and financial goals. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience

Responsibilities

  • Support Category Marketing Managers in delivering day-to-day marketing initiatives and priorities.
  • Execute marketing materials by coordinating the development, updates, and distribution of sell sheets, brochures, presentations, and other activation tools, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and on-time delivery.
  • Manage creative execution within established guardrails, coordinating with agencies or internal teams, tracking versions and approvals, and ensuring all materials adhere to brand standards.
  • Maintain marketing systems and repositories to ensure all assets are current, organized, and easily accessible.
  • Support trade shows and events by managing logistics, timelines, vendor coordination, and material readiness (e.g., booth assets, collateral, presentations), as well as post-event follow-up aligned with event objectives.
  • Gather and analyze market data, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to inform marketing decisions and improve positioning. Provide executional support for insights and growth initiatives by organizing data, synthesizing inputs, and assisting in development of draft materials.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (e.g., sales, product line marketing, R&D, and commercial teams) to support execution of customer-driven initiatives.
  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
