About The Position
The International Logistics Category Manager is an individual contributor role responsible for leading the deployment and operational execution of International Logistics procurement for international transportation modes. This position will be a key member of the International Logistics Procurement team and will be responsible for leading the procurement activities for key modes that could include Ocean, Air Freight, Container Drayage and Freight Forwarding services within Trane Technologies' global transportation network. This role will champion and execute bid activities to expand network capacity, whilst ensuring superior service metrics through compliance to Trane Technologies' Preferred Supplier Program metrics. Additional responsibilities include the identification and implementation of cost reduction opportunities. This person will manage the execution and deployment of modal category strategies; deliver productivity through price negotiation, capacity management, continuous improvement initiatives; drive sustainable transportation solutions for the logistics network; and foster positive business relationships across Trane Technologies Strategic Business Units (SBUs) and the logistics supplier network.
