About The Position

International is looking to add an Category Manager-IT Indirect procurement plays a vital role in maintaining business continuity across the entire organization. The indirect procurement team is responsible for identifying suppliers that support a multitude of services that include but not limited to capital equipment and investment, IT hardware/software, consultative services, logistics and distribution, maintenance and repair, marketing and human resources. As an Category Manager-IT, you will ensure alignment with organizational goals and market trends, working within their specific field of responsibility. A successful category manager will develop and implement a strategic sourcing roadmap, supplier negotiations, driving cost reductions, supplier performance management and negotiating and executing agreements. The role involves coordinating global procurement strategies across our Traton and Volkswagen group of brands with a strong focus on North America.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of supply chain, engineering or manufacturing experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 1 years of supply chain, engineering or manufacturing experience
  • Master's degree
  • Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. We do not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status).
