Develop global sourcing and procurement strategies across Infrastructure Category which represent approximately $10M in spend at GE Healthcare. Negotiate with suppliers to achieve optimal contractual terms while ensuring internal stakeholder satisfaction. Leverage industry knowledge and market trends to inform strategic decisions and drive continuous improvement in sourcing practices. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or category management.
  • Proven experience negotiating complex contracts and managing supplier performance.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
  • Experience working in a matrixed, global organization.
  • Experience in contract terms, redlining, and negotiation.

  • Lean/Six Sigma certification or experience with process improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under pressure.
  • Proficiency in sourcing tools and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute sourcing or category management strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with IT and business teams.
  • Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to guide sourcing decisions.
  • Drive cost savings, risk mitigation, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Lead or support supplier transitions, audits, and performance evaluations.
  • Monitor and report on category performance metrics and implement improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, quality systems, and legal requirements.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to team members
  • Support global and regional sourcing initiatives and projects.
