About The Position

The Category Manager is focused on strategic sourcing and procurement for indirect goods/services, and MRO expenditures, and reports to the Procurement Director . This role is perfect for an individual who is analytical, collaborative, and detail-oriented. Job responsibilities include: Develop and implement a comprehensive sourcing strategy for the Indirect/MRO category. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and provide procurement support. Lead procurement processes including RFPs, RFQs, and supplier evaluations. Negotiate contracts with suppliers and monitor performance to drive continuous improvement. Drive cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality and compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of purchasing experience, including 2+ years managing indirect goods & services, and MRO
  • Strong understanding of legal and contractual principles with excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead across organizational boundaries.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers and monitor performance to drive continuous improvement.
