About The Position

We are seeking an entry-level Category Management Analyst to join our Procurement team and support the management of direct material spend. This role is designed to develop the skills needed to progress into a Category Manager II position. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and eager to learn strategic sourcing, supplier management, and cost optimization in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills are required, along with the ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

• Prior exposure to ERP systems and strong Excel skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned inventory items and supplier relationships
• Issue purchase orders and maintain accurate ERP data
• Assist with RFQs, supplier evaluations, and sourcing activities
• Analyze spend and purchasing data to identify optimization opportunities
• Support production by addressing stock-outs, missed shipments, and supplier issues
• Recommend inventory levels, lead times, and lot sizes
• Prepare basic purchasing and performance reports
• Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers
