The Category Manager in Indirect Procurement is responsible for developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and driving value across non-product-related spend categories. Ensure spend transparency, compliance, and effective cross-functional collaboration. Deliver cost savings and value beyond price, ensure service quality, strengthen policy compliance across P2P systems.

  • Develop and execute category strategies for indirect spend areas such as IT, HR, Sales & Marketing, professional services, facilities, and travel.
  • Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and internal demand to identify cost-saving opportunities and innovation potential.
  • Facilitate change management when introducing new suppliers, products, processes, or technologies.
  • Align category plans with business objectives, ensuring procurement supports broader operational and financial goals.
  • Build strong partnerships with key stakeholders across functions, understand needs, align priorities, and gain buy-in for sourcing initiatives.
  • Execute contracts and SOWs through Hollister's Contract Management framework, incorporate pricing protections, termination rights, warranty rights and payment based on deliverables.
  • Establish procurement processes and governance frameworks to ensure consistency, transparency, and accountability across indirect categories.
  • Drive adoption of procurement policies and tools, including e-sourcing platforms and spend analytics systems.
  • Educate internal teams on procurement best practices and category strategies.
  • Strong understanding of Indirect procurement processes and systems.
  • Proficiency in Coupa (P2P) platform or related procurement tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Adopts proactive, solutions-driven approach in dynamic, fast-changing environment.
  • Applies methodical, analytical mindset to convert requirements into practical solutions.
  • At least 5 years in procurement, with experience in indirect categories.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing category strategies that drive cost savings, supplier innovation, and risk mitigation.
  • Experience operating in complex, global, or matrixed environments, collaborating across regions, business units, and functions.
  • Hands-on experience with strategic sourcing processes, including RFP development, supplier valuation, negotiation, and contract management.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish procurement governance frameworks, standardize processes, and drive policy compliance across decentralized teams.
  • Familiarity with procurement technologies and tools, such as e-sourcing platforms (e.g., Ariba, Coupa), spend analytics, and contract lifecycle management systems.
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams, with a focus on aligning procurement initiatives to business goals.
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Supply Chain Management, or similar
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills
  • Proficiency in Coupa, SAP, and data analytics tools (Power BI, Excel)
  • Coupa Platform Certification is a plus
  • Project Management certification is a plus
  • Certifications (CPSM, MCIPS) preferred

  • The anticipated base pay range for this position is $99,104 - $155,735 yearly. The actual salary varies based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, abilities, and other legitimate business factors.
