Our Values: Personal, Agile, Innovative, and Integrity We are opening a new position for Category Management Senior Manager to reflect the growing number of projects, increasing complexity in our portfolio, and the need to better respond to evolving customer and market demands. This role will help ensure we have the strategic capacity and leadership needed to support current and future business growth. Job Summary: The Senior Manager, Category Management plays a key role in driving strategic and financial success within an assigned product category. This position is responsible for supporting the development and execution of category strategies, managing cross-functional collaboration, and driving profitable growth through data-informed decision-making and customer-focused innovation. The role requires strong business acumen, cross-functional leadership, and a deep understanding of product and market dynamics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related technical field
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in consumer-packaged goods or healthcare consumables
  • Proven background in Marketing and/or Product Development roles with increasing scope
  • Experience working in global and matrixed organizations
  • Strong strategic thinking, communication, and analytical capabilities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and regions

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Category Planning & Execution (40%)
  • Support development of category strategy, vision, and actionable roadmaps
  • Translate strategy into prioritized initiatives, budgets, and resource plans
  • Analyze category data, performance metrics, and financials to guide decision-making
  • Incorporate insights from customer research, IHUTs, clinical trials, etc.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership & Alignment (30%)
  • Provide direction to Product Supply and Commercial functions to align with category plans
  • Actively contribute to and lead category forums and Unitas process
  • Maintain key materials such as product roadmaps and selling support materials
  • Support Commercial teams with strategic customer engagement as needed
  • Financial Performance & Portfolio Management (15%)
  • Align category initiatives with enterprise financial goals
  • Track KPIs and support deep dives into costing, pricing, and commercial opportunities
  • Collaborate on SIOP processes and pipeline analytics
  • Organizational Development & Influence (15%)
  • Contribute to evolving category ways of working across functions
  • Engage in broader organizational initiatives
  • Help shape a positive, collaborative culture within the Category Management team
