As part of this team, you will play a key role in driving, sourcing excellence and enabling operational success. Fuel your passion As a Category Lead, you will manage sourcing activities across defined categories and projects, driving supplier performance, cost optimization, and alignment with strategic business objectives. You will support category plans, lead sourcing initiatives, and ensure procurement excellence across your assigned scope. As a Category Lead, you will be responsible for: Category Management — Owning and managing assigned spend categories, developing and executing sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives. Supplier Selection & Contracting — Leading supplier selection processes, negotiating commercial terms, and managing contract creation, execution, and compliance. Requisition Management — Converting internal purchase requisitions into accurate and timely purchase orders in accordance with company policies. Order Tracking — Monitoring open orders, confirming delivery dates, and resolving delays or supplier issues proactively. Stakeholder Engagement — Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure category strategies support operational goals. Supplier Relationship Management — Building and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure performance, innovation, and value delivery. Performance Monitoring — Conducting quarterly business reviews with strategic suppliers to assess performance and identify improvement opportunities. Market Intelligence — Monitoring market trends, risks, and opportunities to inform sourcing decisions and maintain competitiveness. Cost Management — Driving cost savings and value‑creation initiatives through effective negotiation and supplier collaboration. Compliance & Risk Management — Ensuring procurement activities comply with internal policies and external regulations while managing supply‑base risks. Documentation — Maintaining accurate records of supplier communications, quotations, and order confirmations.

Requirements

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field
  • Have MCIPS accreditation, be working toward it, or hold an equivalent US qualification
  • Have 3–5 years of experience in sourcing or category management
  • Have strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Have the ability to travel domestically and internationally as required
