This position supports the Tech Center facility in Mossville, IL, with Indirect Purchases to support Manufacturing, Facility and Product Group needs.

Requirements

Degree or equivalent experience desired
Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Interpersonal Relationships: Knowledge of the techniques and the ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.
Data Analytics: Knowledge of techniques and processes for inspecting, cleansing, transforming, and modeling data; ability to discover useful information, draw logical conclusions, and support decision-making.
Purchasing Tasks and Activities: Knowledge of policies, regulations and processes of purchasing; ability to use practices and procedures for procurement of materials, components, equipment and services.
Contracts Management and Administration: Knowledge of policies, standards and processes of how to manage and administer contracts; ability to use proper processes and practices for managing and administering a variety of contractual agreements.

Responsibilities

Support customers and stakeholders as they purchase material and services to support manufacturing operations, facility maintenance and projects, and engineering functions.
Recognize the potential for cost reductions by engaging with business partners at the facility you support and with the Indirect Purchasing Category teams.
Work the Joint Process Improvement process (JPI) with suppliers, customers and Category teams to achieve cost savings and avoidance goals.
Collaborate with business partners and suppliers and resolve a wide variety of facility specific supplier issues, including negotiating contract terms and price increase requests
Serve as a trusted resource to support compliance to Purchasing Practices and Enterprise Procedures around purchasing goods and services
