About The Position
AGCO is looking to hire candidates for the position of Category Buyer. This position is responsible for implementing overall sub-commodity strategy defined with and under the supervision of the Category Manager. To ensure the competitiveness of one or more product families, this position aims at identifying cost reduction opportunities through scouting of new suppliers, benchmark activities, and contracts negotiation with existing ones. Ensure supplier's good performance (cost, delivery, quality, warranty) in alignment with relevant teams' requirements (materials management, supply continuity, supplier quality, warranty recovery, engineering and aftersales) Support New Product Introduction (NPI) with collaborating with NPI and Engineering teams.
