About The Position

At LCRA, we are seeking a skilled Category Buyer Sr. to join our procurement team! This role involves supporting our internal customer needs by leading sourcing events and procuring vital materials and services needed in our day-to-day operations. As a category buyer Sr., you will be responsible for utilizing a strategic mindset while aligning with specific procurement processes. Requirements

• Five or more years of experience in procurement, logistics, warehouse operations, inventory management or other relevant experience

Nice To Haves

• Expertise conducting formal and informal purchases for goods/services
• Experience managing supplier relationships
• Experience establishing and managing stakeholder relationships
• Understanding of inventory management and control

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing events and execute Purchase Orders for those services and materials
• Manage and replenish storeroom inventory
• Support multiple stakeholders within the organization with their procurement needs
• Follow up on existing orders with suppliers and stakeholders
• Support special projects throughout the year by representing Supply Chain and ensuring all LCRA purchasing policies and procedures are met
