The Category Assistant (Administrator II) at Hannaford is responsible for performing various administrative and clerical duties within the Category Management team. This role supports the accurate management of cost paperwork, data entry, and maintenance of department records, ensuring the integrity of information related to pricing and vendor deals. The position offers a flexible work environment with a hybrid expectation of being present in the Scarborough Home Office three days a week.

  • Manage accurate cost paperwork for the category team and communicate entry timeline into the pricing system.
  • Input new data into assigned database, report, or documents.
  • Process changes to data in assigned database as required and maintain log of actions related to change.
  • Maintain department records and files.
  • Conduct regular reviews of assigned database, report, or various documents to identify discrepancies in data and ensure accuracy.
  • Correct inaccurate data and maintain documentation of action or communication related to correction.
  • Assist with the validation of vendor submitted deals.
  • Partner with Pricing to grid advertising signs and pricing.
  • 1-2 years of experience (clerical, administrative, retail, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Programs
