About The Position

This position will be responsible for managing a specific Hussmann product category by ensuring Aftermarket offerings for new factory product releases and modifications are proactively available and communicated to aftermarket customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Business or related field
  • 1 year business product, engineering, or marketing experience
  • Proven research and analytical skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint a must)
  • Familiar with Oracle and Team Center
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Must take initiative and be able to manage projects independently

Nice To Haves

  • Hussmann or refrigeration product experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support new product development and engineering change projects by actively engaging with project teams to ensure Aftermarket offerings are proactively available and communicated to customers.
  • Create items in engineering system (Teamcenter) and complete setups in ERP system (Oracle) related to item master attributes, planning settings and pricing.
  • Manage the lifecycle of Aftermarket offerings, for multiple plant locations, from inception through discontinuation including creating new parts in AM systems, managing offerings through lifecycle and identifying substitute part offerings.
  • Develop and maintain part identification tools for product categories and assist customers with part identification when required.
  • Be the voice of the customer to field support, sales, supply and engineering teams to determine appropriate Aftermarket stocking levels.
  • Identifies problems and provide solutions using analytical tools.
  • Drives multiple projects with competing priorities.
  • Document and knowledge share with team standard operating procedures.
  • Responsibilities should be executed with support from others. Identification skills need to continually expand while in the role.
