This role is part of Alcon's Sales & Sales Support function, a team that helps provide access to products across all channels in an effort to drive customer satisfaction with eye care professionals to help people see brilliantly. The Sr. Manager I, Surgical Corporate Accounts (Professional Path) is primarily responsible for managing key accounts, achieving targets, and fostering relationships with stakeholders. You will develop account business plans to meet customer needs and may lead the key account function in smaller regions. Specifics include: • Develop product-specific and portfolio strategies aligned with goals and customer needs • Align account strategy with Sales, Marketing, Patient Access, Medical, and Managed Care • Deliver account plans and achieve financial results for Key Accounts • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve account sales • Lead negotiations, contracting, and formulary management with Key Accounts • Optimize contracts, access, and reimbursement across customer groups • Create and implement programs to build long-term relationships with accounts • Develop a deep understanding of customer organization and strategy • Mentor Key Account Managers by sharing best practices • Communicate customer insights and account activities to internal stakeholders • Provide strategic inputs and support at the regional level and potentially lead the tender business and team within the country Primary Responsibility: Contacts and makes pre-planned sales penetration to national accounts. Assists in developing presentation package, pricing structure, and new products. Promotes the sales of a product to new and established national accounts to achieve sales objectives and greater market penetration. Provides technical or professional advice to external / internal contacts. Interprets sophisticated information for internal and external sources, offering insightful and factual guidance or advice. Studies marketing information on retail and wholesale buying center and / or chain store locations, health plans and insurance companies to determine additional sales needs. Assists clients in evaluating the economic potential of the business. Communicates marketing information to the field sales force for follow-up on sales.
