POSITION SUMMARY Produces CT images under the clinical supervison of a Radiologist. Provides a safe patient environment. Participates in other necessary activities in support of departmental operations EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE: Minimum Required: Graduation from a CAHEA (AMA) accredited radiography program, or the equivalent. Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, with up to date continuing education credits. BCLS certified; recertification required annually. Incumbent will receive on-the-job training in CT applications, if hired without experience. Preferred: Associate Degree in radiography and ARRT certified. Completion of formal training program in CT Technology, and certified (ARRT-CT).
