About The Position
Capital Health is a leading healthcare provider in the region, offering progressive, quality patient care through two hospitals, an outpatient center, a satellite ED, and an extensive network of primary and specialty care. The Capital Health Medical Group comprises over 600 physicians and providers. This CAT Scan Technologist position involves providing clinical services in accordance with radiology practice standards, serving as a resource for other technologists to ensure optimal patient care and efficient departmental operations. The role requires a strong understanding of computerized tomography imaging principles, theory, anatomy, positioning, and techniques for obtaining optimal imaging studies. Additionally, the technologist must understand venipuncture techniques and practices for administering intravenous contrast media and assist physicians with various studies.
Requirements
- Demonstrates understanding of computerized tomography imaging principles and theory, anatomy, positioning, and technique for obtaining optimal imaging studies
- Demonstrates understanding of venipuncture techniques and practices for the administration of intravenous contrast media
