About The Position
NYU Langone Health is actively hiring for CT Technologists for our campuses in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Long Island. Keep an eye on your email, as a member of our team will be emailing candidates daily. Job Overview: This position is responsible for performing medically prescribed radiographic and CT procedures. Utilizes computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-section images of patients internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues. Accurately interpret a physicians scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT scan equipment and position the patient to capture the appropriate images. Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Certificate from accredited School of Radiologic Technology
- New York State license
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
- IV Contrast Certification within 3 months of employment (For some positions)
- Advance Certification in Computerized Tomography
