Requirements
- ARRT certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Responsibilities
- Articulate precise understanding of how data flows in and out of modality work area.
- Be attentive to patient satisfaction results and collaborate with management team on ways to improve the department in general and facility overall.
- Seek ways to improve systems and services.
- Assist with the education and instruction of student technologists and all others rotating through the area to learn.
- Demonstrate ability to meet and sustain departmental expectations while completing work assignments as it pertains to patient care in an ethical manner.
- Maintain integrity of CT equipment with careful manipulation at all times.
- Adhere to Radiation safety regulations and standards.
- Demonstrate ability to prescribe low dose radiation in order to obtain quality images.
- Assist the Medical Physicist in performing quality assurance testing as needed.
- Demonstrate knowledge of data flow from CT modality to PACS system and Post Processing workstations.
- Demonstrate sustained ability when interacting with patients, to follow the AIDET principles (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Expectation and Thank You).
- Ensure confidentiality of all patient information is maintained.
- Maintain current certifications and licensure status.
- Understand time clock expectations and adhere to attendance and punctuality guidelines.
- May complete unit/department specific duties and expectations as outlined in department documents.
