About The Position

Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA is looking for a full-time CAT Scan Technologist for the weekend shift (Saturday, Sunday, Monday 9am-9pm). This position includes a sign-on bonus of $30,000 with a 2-year commitment. The role involves performing Computed Tomography (CT) and CT guided interventional procedures under the direction of a qualified physician, providing patient and family education, operating equipment safely, completing department documentation, maintaining all equipment to be clean and operational, and ensuring adequate supply inventory for performing examinations. An advanced CT registry in ARRT or CNMT must be obtained within two years of hire.

Requirements

• ARRT or CNMT certification required.
• Advanced CT registry in ARRT or CNMT to be obtained within two years of hire.
• No experience in CT required; new graduates are welcome.

Nice To Haves

• ALD Radiologic Sciences or Trade school certificate.

Responsibilities
