About The Position

Cat Scan (CT) Technician Schedule: this is a full-time position that will work 3,12-hour shifts/week from 8 am-8 pm Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with 1-2 weeknights of call and 1 -2 weekend days of call. How you’ll contribute A Cat Scan (CT) Technician who excels in this role: Reviews patient history and physician's orders. Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure patients’ understanding and cooperation. When ordered, prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice. Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate. Prepares equipment and supplies. Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment. Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary. Positions patient and performs imaging procedure(s). Analyzes results and identifies issues with the quality of imaging results. Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patient and repeating procedure. Enters, transmits and reports scan results. On-Call Requirement: Must accept on-call assignments for scheduled shifts and be available to report to the facility within 30 minutes of notification. Additional requirements include: License/Certifications: ARRT Radiography required. ARRT CT or CT eligible required. NM license in Radiography required. NM license in CT or CT Provisional required. Requirements

• Applicants should have an associate or bachelor’s degree in radiologic sciences.
• ARRT Radiography required.
• ARRT CT or CT eligible required.
• NM license in Radiography required.
• NM license in CT or CT Provisional required.
• BLS required.
