About The Position
Shelter is looking for a Casualty Adjuster to investigate, analyze, evaluate, and settle insurance claims involving liability issues and bodily injury losses. The role involves performing complete liability, coverage, and bodily injury investigations, determining the validity of claims, verifying coverage, establishing the value of losses, and negotiating settlements within limits of authority, consistent with established procedures and legal and contractual obligations. The adjuster will also coordinate claims handling of multiple adjusters.
