About The Position
Do you have a passion for working with children from infants to preschool age? Are you looking to work in a collaborative, nurturing, NAEYC accredited center and joining a staff of educators who like to read and think about children’s play? Then Bowdoin College’s Children’s Center may have the opportunity for you. We are looking for qualified individuals to work in our child care facility located on the edge of campus with a wooded play yard. This Center provides leading edge classroom experiences for our infant through pre-school programs. The Casual Substitute Educator will assist in the day-to-day functions of the Children’s Center on an on-call, as-needed basis. Will be required to cover staff absences in all programs of the Children’s Center, functioning as a substitute caregiver.
