You will assist customers with style selection, service, and repair needs, addressing any concerns promptly, all while promoting and selling our brand.

Requirements

• Ability to use various frame repair tools.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to use ladders and stairs.
• Ability to stand and sit for extended periods.
• Must be able to travel to assigned store with reliable transportation.
• Ability to use a POS System and perform data entry and type 20-30 wpm.
• Ability to manage conflicting priorities and work at a fast pace.
• Project a professional image for customers.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and professionally assist all customers and vendors.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve retail goals and expand the customer base, maintaining high service standards.
• Engage customers through active listening, providing expert assistance in sunglass fitting, style selection, and after-sale services.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of Maui Jim products and heritage.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on all product lines, including technology, lenses, materials, fit, and prescription capabilities.
• Merchandise and maintain the retail store's appearance for a positive customer experience.
• Protect Maui Jim assets by following loss prevention procedures.
• Maintain daily inventory control and replenishment, identifying and resolving inventory discrepancies.
• Support the Point-of-Sale process, adhering to all register procedures.
• Foster a positive service culture through effective communication.
• Monitor merchandise cleanliness and display, restocking as needed.
• Restock and merchandise according to Maui Jim standards, with attention to detail in back-of-house operations and store maintenance.
• Proactively address customer concerns, escalating issues as needed.
• Inventory, organize, and clean the retail space daily.
• Assist with all aspects of walk-in repairs.
• Work as a team player to meet team goals.
• Project a professional image.
• Identify inventory gaps and place fill-in orders.
• Assist with onboarding and team development.
• Perform all other work-related duties as requested or required.
