About The Position
The University of Hawai'i is offering a Casual Hire position for an Agriculture Specialist at Leeward Community College. This role is designed for applicants seeking short-term or part-time work, specifically in administrative professional and technical (APT) or instructional-type positions. Casual Hire employees are not eligible for most benefits provided to regular BOR and Civil Service employees, such as paid leave and holidays. Appointments may last for up to 89 days for full-time employees and up to one calendar year for part-time employees. The position is set to begin approximately in July 2025, pending availability of funds and actual staffing requirements.
