This is a 3rd shift position. Hourly pay is $26.10

Requirements

• Programming and running automated inspections on complex parts.
• Performing layout inspections to verify conformance to blueprints.
• Documenting results and maintaining quality records.

Responsibilities

• Perform layouts on castings of various sizes, shapes and complexities and compare layout to blueprint specifications.
• Record and present findings as required.
• Perform product assessment on critical casting dimensions to ensure compliance to print specifications.
• Perform tool wear review to determine wear characteristics on patterns and core boxes.
• Plan and perform statistical dimensional capability studies on cores, pattern and core box tooling, target fixtures and gauges as directed.
• Design specific fixtures and gauges to aid in layout and coordinate their construction with the Pattern Shop.
• Develop layout computer programs for CMM to effectively layout items.
• Oil and clean layout equipment as required.
• Write reports communicating dimensional results and findings.
• Evaluate condition of gauges, calibrate gauges, document current findings and determine compliance toward specified tolerances.
