We are searching for the best talent for Castings Control Coordinator . Purpose: The Castings Control Coordinator is a key position supporting inventory control of the castings product workflow between Raynham manufacturing, the Bridgewater make site, and 2 OUS make sites. This role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills, as well as multi-site coordination. The position will work closely with the Raynham manufacturing coordinator and other cross-functional groups, including the Plan PP&L team. Escalation of issues involving outbound castings shipments and stock availability is imperative to the success of the continuous product flow to meet site attainment goals.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to learn and adhere to specific procedures according to the department training plan.
  • Ability to read, comprehend and apply documentation such as safety, operating and maintenance instructions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse clientele base.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with coworkers and the public.
  • Ability to perform duties in accordance with policies and procedures and in to comply civil rights requirements.
  • Demonstrates understanding of health and safety requirements.
  • Able to deliver oral and written communications and use electronic systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Lean/Six Sigma knowledge preferred.
  • 12 months or more hands-on-experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Demonstrates some awareness of other engineering specialties and upstream stakeholders, including Quality Engineering and Process Engineering
  • Demonstrates organized, analytical approach to problem solving.
  • Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production operations and machinery.
  • Excellent supervisory and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the plan team and supervisor to align on monthly and weekly production targets for castings attainment.
  • Work with the Raynham manufacturing coordinator to ensure daily castings loads are received and sorted
  • Enter castings sales orders in SAP (BtB) in a timely manner to ensure availability for picking/outbound shipment operations.
  • Plan product flow according to daily/weekly schedules, including preparation of outbound shipment pallets for Suzhou & Cork make sites
  • Manage flow of product during the week as required in collaboration with Leads and Supervisors
  • Ensure inventory cycle counts are completed on a timely basis.
  • Maintain organization of the on-hand stock inventory (HBC) locations
  • Support projects regarding capacity, flow, or other topics as requested.
  • Report daily, weekly and monthly castings shipment attainment to cross-functional groups, highlighting gaps and reasons for misses.
  • Follow all applicable EHSS policies and procedures which includes PPE, work practices, and control measures.
  • Promptly report EHSS Incidents and Good Saves Complete EHSS training and CAPAs on-time. Ensure department waste is segregated for proper disposal (recycle vs trash).
