What You’ll Do at TenX Manufacturing As a Casting Technician at TenX Manufacturing, you will be responsible for producing high-quality urethane cast parts while meeting customer specifications and internal quality standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Prior experience in manufacturing or production preferred, especially urethane casting or molding
  • Familiarity with hand tools and equipment used in molding and casting operations
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality
  • Physical dexterity and ability to perform precision work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and production demands
  • Safety-focused mindset with adherence to all safety procedures

Responsibilities

  • Performing urethane part molding using hand tools to create layup boards and execute mold splits
  • Understanding and applying molding concepts such as gating, venting, coring, and mold flow
  • Preparing molds for casting, including cleaning, releasing, heating, cooling, and staging molds in process
  • Safely staging and handling molds using carts, pressure tanks, lifts, and other preparation equipment
  • Identifying, mixing, and documenting casting materials per work orders and manufacturer specifications
  • Preparing and operating equipment required for casting operations
  • Removing cured parts from molds using forced air and specialized tools as required
  • Inspecting finished parts to ensure conformity to design requirements and customer specifications
  • Identifying, documenting, and reporting defects or process deviations for corrective action
  • Following work orders, production schedules, and project plans to meet production deadlines
  • Safely handling and storing urethane parts and raw materials while maintaining proper inventory practices
  • Cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment to ensure proper operation and longevity
  • Collaborating with casting, finishing, and production teams to support continuous improvement
