About The Position

This off-shift CASTING TECHNICIAN position will be located in our plant 5, Ti-Cast Operation. Primary responsibilities will include operating vacuum melting equipment, troubleshooting and repairing equipment as necessary, and maintaining accurate and detailed logs. The technician will work to detailed and controlled work instructions, execute minor maintenance, repair and replace furnace components, check and maintain furnace fluid levels, prepare and set up the furnace for the following shift, and perform housekeeping activities to keep machines and the work area clean. This includes sweeping and mopping the work area, scraping and cleaning mold and melt chambers of furnaces, and complying with all EHS rules required for the work environment. The technician will also perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of two years of work experience, or six months manufacturing experience.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous casting experience a plus.
