About The Position

As a Casino Shop Engineer, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on various building systems and fixtures to ensure smooth operations. Your role will involve light plumbing tasks, basic electrical work, operating equipment safely in large spaces, conducting inspections, and addressing maintenance requests promptly, all while adhering to safety and compliance procedures.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in general maintenance, facilities, or a related trade.
  • Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on building systems and fixtures.
  • Handle light plumbing tasks including unclogging drains, repairing toilets, sinks, and faucets, and tracing minor leaks.
  • Complete basic electrical work, such as replacing light bulbs, light fixtures, outlets, and switches.
  • Operate scissor lifts, forklifts, and other equipment safely to perform tasks in large convention spaces and high-ceiling areas.
  • Assist with re-lamping and general upkeep of large event and public spaces.
  • Conduct routine inspections and respond to maintenance requests promptly.
  • Maintain tools, supplies, and equipment in good working order.
  • Follow all safety, security, and compliance procedures required in a casino environment.
  • Provide excellent service and communication when interacting with staff and guests.
