THE JOB: The Casino Porter at Bellagio is responsible for providing excellent guest service and maintaining a safe, friendly environment for both employees and guests. This role ensures assigned casino and public areas are clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
Requirements
- Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
- Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms required
Nice To Haves
- Six (6) months of previous experience as a porter or in a comparable cleaning/janitorial position within a casino or public areas preferred
Responsibilities
- Sweep, vacuum, and remove debris, scuffmarks, and spills from floors, chairs, and assigned areas, including biohazard cleanup.
- Clean and dust slot machines, slot chairs, woodwork, ashtrays, and trash receptacles; return equipment and furniture to proper positions.
- Replenish supplies and ensure all equipment is accounted for; report malfunctioning items.
- Provide excellent guest service, addressing challenges promptly and creatively.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment throughout assigned casino and public areas.
