About The Position

Responsible for the cleaning of all public areas, restrooms and offices throughout the entire Casino complex as needed.

Requirements

  • Knowledgeable in the use of cleaning products.
  • Ability to tactfully and diplomatically deal with the public and staff.
  • Must possess excellent business sense and high professional ethics.
  • Must possess a high regard for guest service and team member relations.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Must undergo and successfully pass a background investigation to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Morongo Gaming Agency.
  • Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form, such as rules and regulations, instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to add and subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
  • Ability to develop and maintain harmonious working relationships with staff and guests.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; talk or hear; and taste or smell.
  • The team member frequently is required to walk and reach with hands and arms.
  • The team member is occasionally required to sit.
  • May be required to climb.
  • The team member must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous housekeeping experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all cleaning materials, chemicals and equipment are used per the manufacturer's instructions.
  • Perform all duties in a safe manner, reducing the risk to guests, team members and self.
  • Utilizes proper/approved cleaning materials and solutions.
  • Pick up paper and trash from floor and around machines.
  • Clean machines, toilets, sinks and mirrors.
  • Empty and clean ashtrays.
  • Collect cups and trash, pull full trash bags, push trash cart to dumpster and empty.
  • Operate and clean vacuum sweepers.
  • Reports conditions of establishment to supervisor.
  • Ensure that all OSHA safety rules and regulations are followed.
  • Assist with special event clean up and crew management.
  • Performs other job related duties as assigned.
