About The Position

The Casino Concierge at Jamul Casino is responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a memorable experience for all visitors. This role involves assisting guests with their needs, particularly in relation to hookah services, while maintaining a clean and organized workstation. The position requires a friendly demeanor, quick thinking, and the ability to work across various departments within the casino, promoting loyalty programs and current promotions to enhance guest engagement.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1-year hospitality experience.
• Ability to promptly and accurately follow instructions given by leadership.
• Ability to maintain composure and perform in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
• Must have the ability to operate computer software programs, 10-key calculator, and other office equipment.
• Must be able to acquire and maintain an appropriate gaming license.

Responsibilities

• Provides friendly, fast, and helpful guest service to all guests and team members.
• Responsible for customers' hookah experiences, including preparing coal and making different hookah flavors.
• Ensures the workstation is clean and tidy, running orders out to customers' tables.
• Assists guests with questions related to the property, loyalty programs, and current promotions.
• Maintains in-depth knowledge of the Sweetwater Rewards players club program, casino promotions, events, and amenities.
• Creates guest loyalty by proactively engaging in service of guests when on property.
• Enthusiastically supports and demonstrates superior guest service per department and company standards.
• Adheres to all local policies, procedures, and operating guidelines.
• Notifies management of any technical or equipment problems.
• Meets attendance guidelines and adheres to regulatory, department, and company policies.
