About The Position

The Casino Cashier at The Outpost Travel Center is responsible for providing exceptional customer service in a video poker game room. This role involves ensuring prompt responses to customer needs, operating a cash bank or window, and maintaining accurate financial records. The cashier will also promote ongoing promotions and ensure compliance with all regulations.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must be able to obtain a State Video Poker permit, Louisiana vendors servers permit, and ABO License.
• Clear state background check (no felonies or misdemeanors for theft or gaming violations).
• Must be able to stand for the entire shift.
• General cashiering background or prior money handling experience preferred.
• Good math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
• Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive approach to issues.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a casino or gaming environment.
• Experience in customer service roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, courteous, and efficient service to customers in the video poker game room.
• Ensure prompt response to all customer needs and inquiries.
• Promote ongoing promotions and provide drinks and change to customers.
• Operate assigned bank or window according to established procedures.
• Count down bank or window at the end of each shift and reconcile to the cage accountability.
• Maintain organization of the bank contents for easy counting at shift change.
