About The Position

The position is responsible for the operation of an assigned bank or window according to established procedures and regulations. This includes verifying the incoming count for the assigned bank or window, counting down the bank or window at the end of each shift, and reconciling it to the cage accountability or window impressment. The role also involves operating coin and currency counting equipment, completing or verifying transfers to and from various cash handling areas across the casino, and transporting funds with carts to and from these areas.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in general cash handling is required.
• Cashiering knowledge and good math and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent guest and human relations skills.
• Ability to work as a team and get along with co-workers.
• Ability to work any shift and fluctuating times and days.
• Well-groomed appearance.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned bank or window according to procedures and regulations.
• Verify incoming count for assigned bank or window.
• Count down bank or window at end of each shift and reconcile to cage accountability or window impressment.
• Operate coin and currency counting equipment.
• Complete or verify transfers to and from the vault, cage, slots, poker, table games, cash devices, or other cash handling areas.
• Transport funds with carts to and from the vault, cage, slots, poker, table games, cash devices, or other cash handling areas.
• Meet attendance guidelines and adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
• Act as a role model to other employees and present oneself as a credit to Harrah's.
