About The Position

The Casino Cage Cashier is responsible for managing cash transactions and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced casino environment. This role involves interacting with guests, processing various forms of cash transactions, and ensuring compliance with gaming regulations. The position also includes maintaining accurate player tracking information and assisting with casino promotions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 21 years of age.
• At least one year of cashiering and/or heavy money handling experience.
• Ability to promptly and accurately follow instructions given by Supervisor or Manager.
• Must qualify for licensing by the Maryland Gaming Commission.
• Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations, including the ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure interactions with internal and external guests follow the guidelines of the Red Carpet Customer Service Program.
• Maintain a balanced cashier's station.
• Process cash transactions for casino customers and employees, including cashing TITO tickets, personal checks, travelers checks, exchanging currency, and processing cash advances.
• Comply with Title 31 regulations and be knowledgeable about them.
• Enroll patrons into the Players Club, issue Players Club cards, and maintain accurate player tracking information.
• Assist the Marketing Department with all casino promotions.
• Work the main bank as assigned and answer phone calls with proper etiquette.
• Comply with state, company, and department policies and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
