Casino Bartender Full-time $16.90 per hour plus tips
About The Position
PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS Responsible for the accuracy and accountability of the individual cash bank. Acknowledges and greets all customers in a friendly manner. Provides quality Food & Beverage service to guests. Works efficiently to ensure other bartenders orders are filled to accommodate guests at gaming tables.. Able to Assist and work Banquet Events when needed. Assist on the Casino Floor taking drink orders for guest at gaming tables. Accountability to each drink served; proper amount, and proper value, and it is enter correctly into the P.O.S Maintains a clean and well-organized work area, including washing of bar glasses and equipment. Performs all other work-related duties as assigned by the F&B Supervisor. The duties listed are not set forth for the purposes of limiting the assignment of work. Requirements
- 2-5 years bartending experience.
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Safety & Sanitation guidelines as set forth in individual job manuals.
- Must have a valid food handler card/ Serve Safe Certificate and TIPS Alcohol Certification.
- Ability to stand and walk the entire eight (8) hour shift excluding breaks and meal periods.
- Ability to lift sixty (60) pounds for various job related duties; stocking bar with liquor, beer and ice, up to ten (10) times per eight (8) hour shift.
- Must demonstrate positive/enthusiastic approach to all assignments.
- Attendance and punctuality are an essential function of the position.
- Must possess an ability to work with minimal supervision and make educated ethical decisions as necessary.
- Must be able to resolve conflicts and have effective communication skills with all levels of employees and be able to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Must demonstrate an ability to work independently, prepare detailed professional correspondence, memoranda, policies, procedures as well as regulations related to the employee’s duties.
- A general knowledge of the Windows based computer operating systems is also required.
