About The Position

The bartender at Horseshoe Casino is responsible for providing exceptional wine, liquor, and related bar services to both guests and internal staff. This role requires maintaining a well-stocked bar station, mixing drinks according to established recipes, and ensuring financial integrity through accurate cash handling and record-keeping. The bartender plays a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience by delivering prompt and friendly service in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous bartending experience.
• Mathematical abilities, including addition and subtraction.
• Flexibility in fingers and hands to operate cash register and handle bar tools.
• Ability to work with hands in ice for an 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide wine, liquor, and related bar service to guests and servers.
• Mix drinks according to prescribed recipes.
• Keep the bar station stocked with liquor, glasses, and necessary accessories.
• Account for all cash register transactions, including cash, complimentary drink coupons, and charge receipts.
• Maintain the integrity of financial controls and responsibilities.
