About The Position

The Cashier position at Binks Quick Stop Stores involves providing excellent customer service in a convenience store environment. Requirements

• Driver's License (or legal equivalent)
• Social Security Card (or legal equivalent)
• Reliable Transportation
• Able to stand on feet for 8-hour shifts
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Able to learn quickly and solve problems
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Available for irregular hours, including variable shifts and holiday/weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Attend to customers in a convenience store environment and assist them with their purchases.
• Welcome customers and inquire about their purchase needs.
• Help customers find the right items and inform them of upcoming sales and promotions.
• Ring up items at the register and maintain a friendly demeanor during transactions.
• Keep all areas of the store clean and organized, including the parking lot.
• Provide outstanding customer service before, during, and after a sale.
• Communicate information about sales, promotions, products, and availability to customers.
• Use value-added selling techniques to generate additional sales.
• Determine the quickest way to answer customer questions and make recommendations.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Work in a cold environment in the walk-in cooler stocking and arranging products.
• Stock shelves and display merchandise.
• Accept payments, give correct change, and operate cash register or point of sale devices.
• Balance register/till at the end of each shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
