Requirements

  • Food Handler Certificate required prior to day 1.
  • TABC required if 18+ years of age
  • Ability to listen, read, write and speak fluently in English for all job related circumstances.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
  • Practical problem solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous cash handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greets and communicates well with customers in person or via phone to ensure accuracy of order and customer satisfaction
  • Knowledgeable of menu, demonstrates suggestive selling
  • Packages food correctly for dine in and to go orders
  • Ensures order completion and accuracy
  • Uses register to track all transactions
  • Demonstrates accurate cash handling abilities.
  • Complies with Southside Market’s Cashier Accountability Policy
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of cashier area and cash drawer
  • Follows all TABC regulations for responsible alcohol sales
