About The Position
The Cashier - GIPB position plays a vital role in ensuring smooth and accurate financial transactions within the Social Assistance sector at Delray GGC, 1200. This role is responsible for managing cash handling processes, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining accurate records of all transactions. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role preferred.
- Ability to operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and related technology.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities
- Process cash, check, and electronic payments accurately and efficiently for clients accessing social assistance services.
- Maintain detailed and organized records of all transactions, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Provide courteous and professional customer service, addressing client inquiries and resolving any payment-related issues promptly.
- Reconcile cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure accuracy and report any discrepancies immediately.
- Collaborate with team members and management to improve cashier processes and contribute to a positive work environment.
