About The Position

This position of Cashier will be working in a local school kitchen/cafeteria.

Requirements

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure; and ability to make currency change
• Food service experience preferred
• Point of Sale experience preferred
• The ability to obtain clearances and pass criminal background checks required
• A positive and consistent work ethic
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• A willingness to learn and grow within your position
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Handle student lunch sales
• Operate the cafeteria computer Point of Sale and cash register
• Sanitation in conjunction with USDA and state guidelines
• HAACP and health department regulation compliance
