About The Position

Westborn Market started small in 1963, stocking only the best fruit and vegetables. Over the years we’ve expanded our aisles and locations to better take care of the community. This position will require processing monetary transactions for customers with speed and efficiency. You will be expected to provide professional and efficient service to customers while demonstrating a high level of product knowledge. This will be a part time, day time position. At least one weekend day worked will be required.

Requirements

• Demonstrates basic math skills with and without a calculator
• Ability to write legibly and read with comprehension at a level where it applies to this position
• Knowledge of current product and codes

Responsibilities

• Operates POS system
• Counts and balances cash till before and after shift
• Bags and packs customer purchases with care
• Provides exceptional customer service
• Collects shopping carts from parking lot and surrounding areas regardless of outside conditions
• Stocks and maintains displays
• Maintains clean and organized work area free of hazards
• Abides by Westborn Market’s time and attendance policy
• Keeps a positive and helpful attitude during length of shift
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
