About The Position

Under general supervision but according to established policies and procedures, operates a cash receipt system to record, collect, and distribute cash transactions. Performs a variety of bookkeeping duties and closes out cash register at end of scheduled shift. Requirements

  • Six months’ experience cashiering in order to be familiar with cash register functions
  • Skill in basic financial analysis for bill computation, payment processing and discrepancy recognition
  • Skill in written and oral communication
  • Ability to perform non-complex arithmetic in receiving money and making change
  • Ability to operate the cash office with minimal supervision or assistance
  • Employee has knowledge and understanding of patient and workforce safety as it relates to job duties.
