About The Position
Must be willing to work Evenings and Weekends. Primary Job Functions Run POS (point of sale) register Greeting customers upon entry of store Customer Service (help customers find what they need in a professional and courteous manner) Keep up with store promotions and special events Understanding store layout and location of products Cleaning and stocking impulse and endcap merchandise Following store procedures, opening and closing Answer telephone Secondary Job Functions: Help load merchandise for customers Help check in freight Organize point of purchase material, maintain bin tags, shelf labels, and peg hooks
Requirements
- Ability to count change back
- Ability to work flexible hours; including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Attention to detail, accuracy is key
Nice To Haves
- H.S. Diploma or G.E.D. is preferred
- Retail cashier experience is a plus
- Ability to operate office machines, computers, and Excel is a plus
- Professional telephone skills
- Knowledge of merchandise
