About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and friendly Food Truck Cashier to join our team for weekend shifts on Friday and Saturday Evenings as well as Sunday during the day. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have a keen eye for detail. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash, credit, and debit transactions, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Basic math skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they approach the register and provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently
• Process cash, credit, and debit transactions using a POS system
• Maintain accurate cash drawer and balance at the end of each shift
• Answer customer questions and provide information about store policies and products
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the register and surrounding areas
• Assist with stocking and restocking merchandise as needed
• Follow all safety and security procedures
